Personalized Chess Training For Every Student

Learn chess in a way that suits your mindset and capabilities.

Our Story

Hey there

We're Origin Chess Academy — built by players who started with nothing but a chessboard and a big idea.

Our story began when we saw talented players all around us, but no proper guidance, no focused coaching, and no real path forward.

So, back in 2021, we started the Karachi University Chess Club. We trained hundreds of complete beginners, organized tournaments, and led our teams to major National-level wins.

But, the more we taught, the more we realized how many people wanted to learn chess, but didn't know where to start.

That's when Origin was born.

What started as a university initiative has now grown into a full chess academy, offering personalized coaching for beginners of all ages.

And we're just getting started.

Ditch the One-Curriculum-Fits-All Approach

No two players think the same.

Some are wired for attack while others shine in defense.

That's why we don't believe in one fixed curriculum for everyone. At Origin, your training begins with understanding you.

We learn how you think, play, and where your natural strengths lie — then build a coaching path that grows from there.

This isn't factory coaching. It's chess that feels like it was made for you.

“Yahan trainers kaafi ache hain. Jinko acha khelna ata hai unko bhi acha guide kar skte hain, k wo apni game kese improve kren. Aur jo bilkul zero pe hain, unko bhi guide kr skte hain taake wo progress kr saken.”

“I joined Online Summer Camp classes from Origin Chess Academy. My tactics, strategies and way of thinking changed and improved. My ratings were in 300 on chess.com and I was unable to cross 350 even the ratings would get worse and reach 200s but after these classes I did not only cross 400s but now I am also able to play and Win against 500 rated players.”

“Firstly, I was able to visualize longer lines as well as learning some gambits and theory. I am now able to improve my positions in most games and even beat opponents double my ELO. The classes helped me alot and they were engaging and enjoying.”
